INSTALLATION INSTRUCTION

FOR REPLACEMENT AIR PRESSURE SWITCH (PRS3428)FOR MODELS: ERN152 - ERN402 and ERL152 - ERL402

For an appliance already installed, you must turn off gas supply,turn off power and allow appliance to cool before proceeding.Components may be HOT! Failure to comply could result insevere personal injury, death, or substantial property damage.

Replacement procedure

1. Remove the wires from the Lochinvar air pressure switch as shown in.

2. Locate the two rubber hoses attached to the air pressureswitch. Slide the tubing clips on the rubberhoses back and detach the rubber hoses from the air pressureswitch.

3. Remove the air pressure switch.
4. Install the new parts4heating supplied air pressure switch.
5. Reinstall the two rubber hoses detached in Step 2

NOTE: Be sure to re-install the clear hose to the negativeport and the gray hose to the positive port. Move the tubingclips back in place once the rubber hoses are reinstalled.

6. Reconnect the wiring disconnected in Step 1 to the newair pressure switch. Attach the female disconnect terminal(LUG7007) over the blade connector as shown in FIG 3.NOTE: Refer to the wiring diagram located inside the unitfor proper wiring of the pressure switch.

7. Turn on the main electrical power and gas to the unit.
8. Reassemble the top outer jacket panel and resume operation.

• 1/4" Nut Driver

• 5/16" Nut Driver

• Needle Nose Pliers

  To gain access to the interior of theappliance

  1. Turn OFF the main electrical power to the appliance.

  2. Turn OFF the main manual gas shutoff to the appliance.

  3. Remove the top outer jacket panel.

4. Follow the procedures in this instruction sheet to replace theair pressure switch.
