Lochinvar PRS3406 , 100166256 Switch, Water Pressure

Replacement procedure

1. Turn OFF power at the source.

2. Turn OFF water to the appliance.

3. Turn OFF gas to the appliance.

4. Drain the heat exchanger by opening up the drainvalve(s) on the bottom of the header as shown in.

5. Remove the protective boot from the water pressureswitch.

6. Disconnect the orange wires from the water pressureswitch.

7. Unscrew and remove the water pressure switch from theheader.

8. Use Teflon tape (not included) on the threads of the newwater pressure switch before installing into the header.

9. Install the new water pressure switch into the header.

10. Reconnect the orange wires disconnected in Step 7.

11. Place the protective boot over the newly installed waterpressure switch.

12. Turn ON power, water and gas to the unit. Be sure toremove all air from the system before turning the waterback on.

13. Resume operation.
